Laura Ward

Executive Director

Laura began her career in 1994 advocating for the needs of families and children as a licensed attorney at Victim Services in NYC. She moved on to serve as Executive Director of Foster Care Review, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the safety of Florida's foster children. After relocating to Austin, she served as General Counsel for the Travis County Juvenile Probation Department and Division Director for the Office of Children's Services. She holds a J.D. from George Washington University National Law Center and B.A. in psychology from the University of Michigan.
